Get yourself someone who could score as many points as Salvador Sobral in the televote in a 37(+1) countries voting environment. And still have 526 points in total. And LOSE.

I'm not being (Sweden) bitter, I'm just pointing something out. I guess the juries were more in for the idea of accepting a former winner with open arms because her song is just of the same quality as her previous winner... Alexander Rybak could only wish that his silly little song tutorial song worked the same magic as "Fairytale" for him to win more than just his semifinal. (Which by the way was anybody's game the same way as semifinal 2 of 2023 was, hence why the televote was not fond of Semi 2 acts this year, for any of them to not get a triple digit score at all, unlike 2018 semi 2 which had a few acts worth of televote and overall top 10.)
