In this video I drive the 2024/2025 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL Hybrid and the 2024/2025 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL 2.5T back to back and give you my overall impressions of both. The Turbo and Hybrid versions of the Santa Fe are now the only powertrains available in the Santa Fe given the discontinuation of the 2.5 N/A 4 cylinder. The 2.5T gets slightly worse MPG than before while the Hybrid gets substantially better MPG which leads to a 15 MPG difference in the city. The Hybrid also is paired to a 6 speed automatic transmission while the 2.5T uses the 8 speed DCT. For these reasons, I would likely choose the Hybrid over the 2.5T but let me know your thoughts below!
