Reacting to: TEXAS HOLD'EM & 16 CARRIAGES by Beyoncé (‪@beyonce‬)

NOTE:
Although I apreciate everyone's enthusiam and passion on the topics this video generated, I do feel like a lot of the content of this video was either misunderstood or misintepreted and taken out of context, leading to comments that should not take place on this channel. 🤔

So I rewatched the entire video, just to make sure.

Here's what I did vs. did not say:
I did say "white people music" (4:29), referring to modern state of country music (which is a consequence of the genre being appropriated by white people) & I did say "non-white music", which refers to RnB, Hip-Hop, Soul & Gospel because it took a long time (decades) before caucasian people got onboard with it (note: I did use it with a humouristic tone for entertainment purposes primarily because sometimes I hate my own kind)
When I said "pleasing" the members of the Recording Academy (4:47), I did NOT infer that she made Act II for them in order to get the award; rather that she has more chances of earning the award because it happens to be the genre "speaks to them"
I DID say that she is aiming for the artistic relevance and proving her versatility and talent (5:18), but did NOT specify if it was for specific anyone (I did infer herself, however)

It clearly shows that most people stopped watching only (my stats say the average view is 3min 53 sec) after the first 6 minutes without evening watching the end because:
For all of those comments saying I didn't know country originated from African-Americans, please see 11:10 when I say "those sounds were created by African-American people; the "white-adopted music genres"... so yes, I had done my research much before this video
I DID compliment Beyoncé, her voice, her art and her talent throughout the whole video

⚠Moral of the story: don't extrapolate a piece of the content and based your whole opinion on it, much less base your opinion on the comments of people who only partially consumed the video.⚠

Also, if you're gonna come with pitchforks, might as well do it on my vlog video when I got myself a floor seat at the Renaissance concert (and travelled by plane to see it) and had the time of my life (in which I explain that I have listened to her music for over a decade, and I'm very familiar with her discography and artform):    • I TRAVELED TO SEE YOU, BEYONCÉ 🪩🐎✈️ |...  

As if all of this still make you want to share a biased opinion, well... who am I to stop people from sharing their opinions, considering this is what I do on this channel. 🕺
