I was gifted an old water table that had significant water damage. I had a lot of fun stripping, repairing, and restoring it. This was my first furniture restoration, and I learned a lot about how to treat wood... and a few things not to do.
I tried baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and even toothpaste to lift the water stains out. It wasn't until I used some Barkeeper's Friend (and some elbow grease) that I finally got some results. I'm quite pleased with the final results, and I hope you have fun watching it come together.
