Let's see in ACTION 5 little-known cutting blades for jigsaws. The jigsaw is not only for cutting wood and metal, since there are special cutting blades that allow to cut roof clay tiles and some wall tiles, soft materials, cellular concrete and plasterboard and other materials.

The first cutting blade has cooling holes so it gets less hot and doesn't burn the wood. I would say that it also makes better rip cuts than a normal cutting blade for wood.

The second jigsaw blade has no teeth. This one has a sharp edge that allows to cut insulating rigid foam as if it were nothing.

The third cutting blade also has no teeth. Instead it has tungsten carbide particles that can cut a roof clay tile. And it also cuts a wall tile (always with protective glasses, all the more so when cutting a wall tile, since the wall tile can release splinters) that is not very hard. Floor tiles are very hard and this jigsaw blade won't cut it, and it will even ruin this cutting blade.

The fourth cutting blade has teeth on both edges, both front and back. This makes it easier to cut curves with the jigsaw. But we must not force too much when turning the jigsaw or excess of friction will also burn the wood and the cutting blade.

The fifth cutting blade has special teeth that I think allow it to cut cellular concrete. But I only find normal cement blocks and those can not be cut with this jigsaw special blade. That is why I tried to cut a plasterboard, and we can see that it cuts it easily and leaves a clean cut.
