Today we have another incredible in-car footage with David's 1969 Chevy Camaro here hitting apexes and corners at the Historic Muscle Cars Racing Series, Pukekohe Park Raceway, south of Auckland - New Zealand.
What an amazing opportunity to witness some real vintage racing from the driver's POV !
What you'll see in this video is 1 of the 3 races of the day, with this particular formation being a Handicap Grid Start, where the fastest cars start the race from the pitlane and on a delayed time schedule.
This event is organized by the boys at TACCOC, the Thoroughbred and Classic Car Owners Club. I couldn't resist I had to go down and check some cars out, little did I know that David was kind enough to allow me filming his racing session from inside of their incredibly fast and great-sounding Chevy Camaro Racecar! This car is equipped with a stroked 350ci small block revving to 7500rpm, a 4 speed manual and full on racing suspensions and drivetrain.
