In this video, I will show you how to add any social media links in your YouTube video description.

There are a few ways you can go about it. The first method will apply on all your future new videos, while the second one only works for one video.

To apply the first method, go to the top right corner and click on your profile and go to youtube studio. Then click on the settings gear icon.

Now select the “upload default” option. On the right side, you will see a text box for description.

You will want to input your social media link there. Keep in mind that you are going to need the h t t p s part as well. Otherwise, it will not show up as a hyperlink.

For this example, I have my instagram page, tik tok profile and my youtube channel set up. Once you are done, save the settings.

Now when you upload new videos to your channel, they will always be in the description text box. This works best if you want viewers to see your other social media profiles.

The second method requires you to go to an individual video that you want to add your social media profile link on. Click on the details icon.

Now go ahead and put in your social media profile links. Make sure to include the h t t p s in the url.

Save the video settings. Now when you click on your video and check your description, it will have your social media profile.
