FoodieNAGz is back with our special Eid episode, had been hearing a lot about this latest biryani restaurant launched in Dubai & we were curious to know what the hype was all about. So we headed to Bhaijaan's Biryani dedicated to the Bhaijaan of Bollywood 'Salman Khan'. The 1st thing that catches the eye is the theme of the restaurant - the whole ambiance reminds you of Sallu Bhaijaan - from the posters & his famous dialogues modified creatively on the walls to the dishes on the menu named after his movies.
The restaurant owner Mr. Omar Farooq said that this was his way of paying tribute to Bhaijaan who is a favorite among both the Indian & Pakistani community. He claims that Bhaijaan's Biryani has developed a special biryani to cater to the taste buds of Dubaites - a mildly spiced version.
We ordered the Sultan Mutton Biryani which was cooked in Hyderabadi Dum style - a rich aroma filled creation, with the most succulent of fall apart tender mutton, spiced to perfection. The first bite itself was a confirmation that all the hype being created is definitely worth it. A special mention has to be made about the Mirchi Ka Salan served as a side with every order - a nutty gravy with mildly hot fried green chillies. We got a serving of their piping hot Katrina Gulab Jamun to end the meal.
I would highly recommend the place & would definitely want to visit them again because the Biryani just keeps calling you back 'Ek Baar Se Dil Nahi Bharta Aa Ke Kha Mujhay Dobara'
