End of August, 2020. I was about to cross the Pyrénées, sea to ocean, on the GR10 trail. Two months long backpacking journey (that turned into one year) that has changed my entire life. Instead of leaving for Erasmus in London (thanks c*vid:-), I was hiking alone in a huge mountain range, there where Southern France meets Spain, where the cow bells are ever-present, the grass is golden and the girls are smelly, where the mountain love is tough, but real.

Just me. My backpack. My journal. Few crystals, you know, to give me good energy ;-). Little did I know that soon I'll be crossing snowfields and fighting against insane winds that not even my crystals could stop.

As per usual, everything happens for a reason, and the Pyrénées has decided to take me another way, maybe to show me that I CAN create my own. In the mountains. And of living my life.

Voilà. From boring and often dark life of a student from Prague, totally stressed by the society, to a life aligned with nature, where I am the boss of my being.

Thank you.
To all of you, who have watched my ode to the Pyrénées.
You are all incredible exquisite beings, who deserves all the best and I hope you have a lovely day. If not, know that it's okay too. :)
And thank you, Pyrénées.
