After visiting Tokyo, we took the train to Kyoto for two days. I would have loved to have more time there but we were visiting many spots on this trip. I think two days is the minimum you need to feel like you really saw Kyoto. I wouldn't want to spend less time there. Kyoto was so much fun and so beautiful. I absolutely loved it!
