Stausee Mooserboden and Stausee Wasserfallboden are located south of Kaprun in Zell am See area. Both reservoirs are located in high mountains close to the highest Mountain of Austria Grossglockner.
Their purpose is to create energi as a water dam build in 40s and 50s of the 20th century.

The hike around the lake is amazing and its something you cannot pass if you in Kaprun or Zell am See.
