Lake Travis defeated Plano in penalty kicks, 4-3, to win its first boys soccer 6A state title in school history Saturday night at Georgetown ISD Athletic Complex.

The match was scoreless after full-time and overtime. Sophomore goalkeeper Adam Schantz made two big penalty kick stops and was later named game MVP.
