We visit McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada, to discuss the importance of STEM learning in the Afro-Black Caribbean Community. We visit Dr Juliet Daniel, Associate Dean, Faculty of Science and delve into her groundbreaking discovery of the Kaiso gene in the cancer biology field. We speak with Associate Professors Dr Joseph Okeme, Dr Nana Ofori-Opoku and Assistant Professor Dr. Shaiya Robinson about their work and how it relates to our community. We talked with McMaster University students Stephanie Ali Fairbairn and Keziah Gibbs about why they chose to study in the STEM fields.
