Tuesday turned out to be a girl, and eclosed and became a butterfly the morning of Aug 30, 2021.

I've been trying to record that 1st crack open for years now, and finally got it with her. We kept her overnight b/c of some T-storms we got, and released her the next morning. We kept her calmer by being in a darkened spare bedroom that's cooler than the 80 degree other spare bedroom she had been staying in.

I sped up the video 16x (but slowed it down for that 1st crack for a cool part), and put some nice music along with it, too. Our nephew and niece were able to help release her, and hearing our niece clap and shout for joy when Tuesday flew away gets me every time. Enjoy!
