Philippe is interested in how architecture can provide a glimpse into how people live all around the world. He travels to some of the most unique spots and culture on the planet to see what they have to offer. Today he is in Nepal’s Mustang District in the town of Lo Mantling. This walled town was founded by a Tibetan king in the late 14th century and is now totally isolated from the rest of the world high in the mountains of the Himalayas. Next Philippe makes his way to Nyaungshwe in eastern Myanmar, a small town off of Inle Lake. The Inta people were displaced here over 500 years ago due to tribal wars and now thrive in harmony with the water.
