My Story
My name is Noah, and in May 2011, I had a rare reaction to VIVITROL, which led to severe depression, depersonalization, and anxiety. I lost 25 lbs in 4 weeks and was in constant panic for 8 weeks. Unable to work, I moved in with my parents, and after being hospitalized, I tried numerous treatments, from medications to holistic therapies, with little success. Finally, my low testosterone levels were discovered, which explained my treatment-resistant depression. After starting testosterone therapy, I slowly began to improve. Though not fully healed, I continue to share my journey to help others struggling with mental health challenges.
