At BG Whiskey Creek parking lot and across the bridge lies a trail leading to the Dania Beach Erojacks. The JAX is an artificial reef that runs perpendicular (West to East) while the park reef runs parallel to the shore (North to South). The reef was deployed in 1967, and stretches all the way out to the first set of natural ledges and reef. This is an excellent site for snorkeling/freediving and scuba diving from the shore. You can access the site from Dania Beach or through the state park (now named Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park but formerly called John U. Lloyd).
