One of our engineering managers/musician/sound guy (Fred) came up with this idea of having live music for our annual picnic in 07. Well we did and it took off from there ... for nearly the next 10 years. It got better and more refined each year. There was lots of talent in this RF engineering bunch and it morphed into a very cool thing for everyone and anyone who wanted to come up on stage and grab a mic or play an instrument.

Beggar's Hat had played as a local band prior to this, but kicked it off in 2007.
