After Bari in Italy we arrived in Split Croatia , one of our favourite countries to visit , but our first time to Split .
We had no excursions booked and decided that we would take the 20 - 30 minute stroll around the harbour into the centre of Split. Fortunately for us the sun was shining and the temperature was perfect .
Its a beautiful city with loads of history , so much so that they filmed part of the TV series Game of Thrones there .
It was great just strolling around and taking in the history of the city , lots of little side streets and alleyways that were just calling out to be explored .
Then it was time for a pit stop , and we enjoyed a cold Beer and a glass of wine in one of the many bars and cafes along the waterfront .
After a bit more exploring it was time to get back to the ship and enjoy a bit of relaxation in one of the Hot tubs.
That evening , after dinner in the main restaurant we headed to the theatre to see an all girl harmony band named Magnolia Road .A dutch female group who played mostly country songs. We felt that they sounded better as a group rather than when they sang individually , but still an enjoyable performance .

We then enjoyed a few more songs from the onboard busker in the atrium before heading to bed and looking forward to our next port of call . Kotor in Montenegro .
