CN's Yazoo Subdivision is an important route connecting Memphis and Chicago with the gulf coast. Running through the flat, fertile delta, the line has high track speeds and wide open spaces for viewing passing trains. On a muggy August morning, we visit the line near Greenwood, MS to catch the morning Amtrak City of New Orleans along with some other quick freights. Enjoy!
