जीवन में आपका अतीत सिर्फ आपका अतीत है वो न आपका आज है और न ही वो आने वाला कल होगा। बीते हुए कल की नसीहत पर आज से आने वाले कल के लिए अपने लिए अपने और अपने जैसे संभव व्यक्ति के लिए रास्ता बनाना ही जीवन में कामयाबी और मिसाल बनने का तरीका है। कुछ ऐसी ही कहानी है हमारी आज की Speaker Amruta Soni जी की। महाराष्ट्र के शोलापुर जिले की रहने वाली Amruta जी का जीवन असहनीय और नारकीय परिस्थितियों में बीता। एक Catholic परिवार में जन्म हुआ, बचपन से ही Music और Dance का शौक भी था। Navy में काम करने की बात हो या Multinational Companies में HR और Voice and Accent Trainer की Tob की, उन्हें हर जगह से Rejection का सामना करना पड़ा। College में पढाई के लिए कई तरह से मुश्किलों का सामना किया, पैसे कमाने के लिए ताली बजाकर पैसे मांगने से लेकर एक Bar Dancer तक बनी। जीवन की कठिनाओं ने तब हद पार कर दी जब MBA पूरी करने के बाद इन्हे पता चला की ये HIV Positive हैं। आज Amruta जी 3 राज्यों के लिए Regional Program Manager हैं, जहां ये Transgenders के अधिकार के लिए Advocacy करती हैं। साथ ही Asia Pacific Transgender Network में Co-chairman हैं। इन्होंने एक HIV Positive बच्ची को गोद लिया और आज एक माँ भी हैं। Josh Talks में आज Amruta Soni जी की कहानी, जो उनके संघर्ष, जीवन की चुनौतियों, मेहनत, जज़्बे, जुनून और Josh को बयां करती है।

It can never be your future as it has already been passed and the only good it can do is that it can help you to instruct your future. Such is the story of our today’s speaker Amruta Soni. A native of Sholapur, Maharashtra; her life has been a tale of horrendous and diabolical things that happened with her among the countless others because of their Gender Identity. Born and raised in a catholic family, she was always fond of music and dance. Whether it was the opportunity to work in the Navy or in MNCs as a voice and accent trainer, she faced rejection because of her identity. From getting admission to the college to earn money for a living, she faced numerous challenges and even worked in inhumane conditions as a bar dancer. Things became darker when she completed her MBA and discovered that she is HIV positive. Today, she is a regional program manager for 3 states when she works for transgender rights. Alongside, she is also a co-chair at Asia Pacific Transgender Network. She became a proud mother when she adopted a 10 years old girl who was also HIV positive.
