The Silvestre is a cross between a luxe resort and an apartment, in the laid back surf town of Nosara, and part of our best resorts in Costa Rica series. I’ll give you a full tour, show you what I loved and what I didn't.

The Silvestre is a chic, boutique retreat that’s all about laid-back luxury. A mellow two-and-a-half-hour drive from Liberia International Airport, and boom you’ve arrived at this intimate 9-suite oasis, set among Nosara's dusty streets. Stylish rooms include minimalist Studios and expansive Suites. Each space is designed with a blend of modern aesthetics and natural elements. But don't go for the fab views; no resorts in Nosara are right on the beach, but you can’t get much closer because it’s less than a two-minute walk from the Nosra’s famous surf beach.

The Silvestre offers breezy and light food options and lots of drinks all day long on its gorgeous rooftop terrace, where you’ll also find the hotel’s beautiful pool (sans beach views).
If you’re after wellness and relaxation, the hotel features a spa offering rejuvenating treatments and a yoga studio that hosts daily classes, perfect for finding that elusive inner peace you’ve been searching for.
