Give it a try and let me know what you think. (You'll need your "fat pants" with this in your house. No worries, it's so good it won't last long in the house, and it's worth every calorie)! #peachcobbler #dessert #fruit #peaches #recipevideo

Vanilla Peach Cobbler Recipe-

The dish I used was 6X6 and is a deep dish. Remember to be experimental with your baking. Try ramekins, other special ceramic dishes, or what ever else you have, just keep it on the smaller size, since we aren't using a large recipe.

This makes about 4 servings. Perfect for singles, or couples.

3 large, fresh, soft peaches , peeled, pitted, and chunked
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
For the batter:
3 Tablespoons butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup milk
sprinkle ground cinnamon to taste

Secret Ingredient- Shhh don't tell anyone- Seeds from one vanilla bean

Also, you'll be VERY SORRY if you forget to pick up some VANILLA ICE CREAM to go along side of this dessert! So- don't forget the ICE CREAM!

If you heat the oven and mix the batter while the peach mixture is heating, this recipe is ready for the oven in a SNAP, like 15 minutes!

Ok, let's give it a go-

Pour your chunked peaches, sugar and salt into a saucepan and stir to combine. Heat mixture over medium heat, until boiling. When the peaches are soft and sugar is dissolved it is done. Turn off heat source and set aside.

While heating your peaches put your baking pan in the oven with your butter in it, and preheat oven to 350. In a few minutes the butter will be melted, remove the pan from the oven so you can add your next two layers (batter and peaches).

Also, while your peaches are heating mix your batter-

In a medium sized bowl mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and beans. Stir in the milk, just until combined. Pour the mixture into the pan with the melted butter, smooth over until it is an even layer.

Spoon the peaches and juice over the batter. Sprinkle cinnamon generously over the top.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes

Serve warm, with vanilla ice cream- you'll thank me for this addition :)
