In 1968, Sheikh Abdullahi Ahmed Maikano Jallo (RA) lunched a jihad in the defense of the ´Tarika; And the main weapons he use were the Quran and the Hadith. His main enemy was Mallam Alpha Ajura. On his way to Bawku in the north of Ghana, for a visit to some family members, the Sheikh stopped over at Tamale, the hometown of Alpha Ajura. Sheikh was told all the stories about this enemy of the ´Tarika´ of Sheikh Ahmed Tijani (RA); He was also told how brave Alpha Ajura is.
