Hey guys here is just a quick look at this Klein Tools Flashlight with Work Light Model# 56028. Klein sent this out for me to take a look at and I like it quite a bit, it is a flashlight (235 lumens) with a work light (100 lumens) built in the side of it, it runs on 3 AAA batteries, the light has an aluminum body which is anodized in a nice orange finish and has a nice rubber grip around the handle which I always like in the event I don't have a hand free to hold it I can grip it in my mouth without discomfort, it is a nice compact light making it easy to carry in your pocket or to clip onto your belt, the flashlight has a very wide beam for a very broad light which I like very well for working in close up quarters and the addition of the work light to the side of it is also a nice touch, it has a very strong magnet on the base to hold it to ferrous metals and I have found this very useful working under the hood of cars and also underneath them in particular among other things, the flashlight tip has a cool ring around the tip that is glow in the dark and is charged up each time the light is on making it easier to find in the dark when the light is off and the ring is also made of rubber which is nice as it will protect the tip of the light if it is dropped, it has an IP67 rating against dust and water and is impact resistant, there is a nice removable belt clip on it and it runs about 6 hours on a set of batteries when using the flashlight and around 12 hours when using the work light. Overall I really do like this light and it has become one of my favorite flashlights I have. It lives up to the Klein name as it is a very solid feeling high quality light that I'm sure will last a good long time. As I said before it has a very broad beam which is excellent for working up close or in tight quarters but don't expect it to project out very far as it was not designed for that. I particularly like the magnetic base on it which I use a lot when working on cars and with it's compact size it is easy for me to fit in tight places. The work light on the side is a great touch for when you don't need quite as much light and also makes it easy to get light on whatever your working on when you have it stuck to a surface with the magnet. Honestly if there was one bad thing to say about this light it would be that it's not extremely bright but seeing the type of work it was intended for I think that it is plenty bright, as it was meant to be used in close quarters I wouldn't want it to be any brighter otherwise it would be to bright, when I am looking for a flashlight to use to see long distances I have other flashlights made for that purpose, seeing how most the work I do is in close quarters and up close to things I really like the fact that this light has such a wide focus lens to produce a very large beam even up close and the work light in the side is also great for close quarters. If you are looking for a great flashlight to use at close range or in tight quarters I would definitely recommend this light and the addition of the side work light and magnetic base are great features to have.
