Day 9 sees us taking a nice, relaxing hike up towards Namsan Tower 💪🏻

The last time I went to Namsan Tower, I took a public bus but this time, we were determined to hike all the way up since it is near our accommodation. Plus it is cold in winter, so this would be a good way for us to warm up

And boy, was it a workout alright, and boy did we warm up alright 😅

As you can see from the start, it was looking a little bleak as we were the only ones walking in the are (granted it was early too). But gradually as we reached the main path, we saw more people and knew we were on the right path. Plus the absence of people made the experience much more peaceful and quiet, we were able to appreciate the scenery and take many pictures and videos 😊

I started perspiring to the point I removed my puffer jacket and hiked the rest of the way in a long-sleeved top and fleece bottoms 😂 Note to self, perspiration and periodic gushes of cold wind do not mix well... But my fleece bottoms protected me from the winter winds for most of it 👍🏻

CH wanted to partake in the classic couple activity of locking a commemorative lock on the Namsan Tower, and so we did 🥰 3 years ago when I came here for the first time, this was something I wished I could do with my partner in the future and here CH is, fulfilling my wish.
