African American Philanthropy Committee (AAPC) has become a national model for donor engagement, convening a biennial philanthropy summit and promoting awareness and education about the benefits of wealth and community preservation through philanthropy. In 2010, the AAPC established a legacy fund to help support a variety of organizations within Greater Cleveland’s Black community. Within the new Cleveland Foundation headquarters, the AAPC Conference Room of the Steven A. Minter Conference Center will be free for community groups that want to use the space.
