国指定名勝「吾妻峡」、群馬県吾妻郡長野原町川原畑
　吾妻渓谷は、吾妻川に架かるふれあい大橋から新蓬莱までの約2.5キロメートルにわたる渓谷です。大昔に火山が噴きだした溶岩を、川水が深く浸食してできたものと考えられています。
　　両岸に生い茂るカエデやクヌギ、アカマツなどがすばらしい景観に季節ごとの彩りを添えます。特にミツバツツジの咲く4月中旬、新緑におおわれた5月、紅葉の美しい10月下旬から11月上旬にかけてが、渓谷探検に最高のシーズンです。
「八ッ場ダム」
吾妻川の中流域に完成した八ッ場ダム。ダム堤体上や、やんば見放台（展望スペース）から周辺を見渡すことが出来ます。水陸両用バスの運行や、湖畔のキャンプ・バーベキュー場、公園、八ッ場地域の埋蔵文化財展示施設など八ッ場ダム周辺に様々な施設がオープンしています。2019年JAPAN DAM AWARD受賞。

Agatsuma Gorge is a valley that stretches for about 2.5 kilometers from Fureaio Bridge over the Agatsuma River to Shinhorai. It is believed that the river water deeply eroded the lava that was ejected from the volcano long ago.
Maple, oak, red pine, etc. that grow on both banks add seasonal colors to the wonderful landscape. Mid-April, when the azaleas bloom, May, which is covered with fresh greenery, and late October to early November, when the autumn leaves are beautiful, are the best seasons for exploring the valley.
"Yamba dam"
Yamba dam completed in the middle reaches of the Agatsuma River. You can see the surrounding area from the dam body and from the Yamba viewing platform (observation space). Various facilities are open around the Yamba Dam, such as amphibious bus service, lakeside camps and barbecue areas, parks, and cultural property exhibition facilities in the Yamba area. Received the 2019 JAPAN DAM AWARD.
