It is time to scalp down the portion of the fairway that I've always ear marked for expanding the putting green. This is the first part of that process. I used the Jacobsen to bring the fairway from 0.4" to 0.25" and then used the John Deere to bring it the rest of the way down to my current green's height. Once there, I scuffed up the surface with the sun joe, seeded in my two types of bentgrass. Once seeded, I top dressed the area fairly heavy to smooth out the area and have been watering ever since.
