In this video we start at the beautiful Scarborough Harbour in Qld Australia and travel 14km to Deception Bay. We travel through a variety of scenery along the Scarborough foreshore , through some streets, beside the scenic canals until we get to Newport. From there we follow the dedicated bikeways, with housing on one side, and bushland on the other. We saw a beautiful stretch of tall trees, with views out to the bay. The path skirted one of the wetland areas, before we entered into Deception Bay. So many beautiful park areas, where they have left the big trees. The tide was out, leaving a shimmering glimpse of water and sand. Very beautiful views as we continued along the foreshore, before finding a cafe to have our morning tea.
We were joined by Rick, our new riding companion, who formerly rode racing bikes. He is now discovering the joy of riding a recumbent trike, and is loving every moment. Come along and join us for the ride.
