It's going to be another scorching hot day today for SWFL, but there will be a little more rain out there this afternoon to help cool things down in a few spots.
We're already off to a warm and humid start this morning. Sunrise temperatures are running about 5° above average for most, settling into the upper 70s and low 80s. The warm start will allow us to quickly climb into the 90s by lunchtime. A Heat Advisory will be in effect for Collier, Glades and Hendry counties from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. today, where heat index values over 105°F will be possible.
