We had a few hours on our layover in Taiwan, so we got on a train and headed over to the first city we could find. We walked through the Taipei City Mall and then looked for McDonald's...again. Luckily, there was a nice little dumpling shop nearby to get some local flavor. The Taipei airport is very nice with lots to see, but if you have the time, we would definitely recommend venturing out to see some local sites.
