Nothing like a fun day of glacier sledding into a frigid lake! Every year, at the start of June, I scroll through Instagram posts under to hashtag for this location. I look at the pictures to see if the lake has thawed yet. As soon as I see that the ice is gone, I start making plans. There's only about a week long window. Too early and the lake has ice, too late and the snow slope retreats uphill away from the water. This year we took things up a notch and made the jump a bit bigger. Lots of fun and lots of flops made more an unforgettable time!
