On Wednesday night's live broadcast at 9 p.m. Korean time, "NAVID's The Light, My Light" is a combination of your stories and song requests every week. When subscribers sing the requested songs, they often admire masterpieces again. So I thought it would be nice to select a few songs from the songs I sang on TV and make them cover contents. This is "Girls' High School Days" by Lee Soo-mi.

In the 1970s, she was just as popular as her singing ability. Especially, her song released in 1972 became a huge hit, and she became a top star.

Then, in 1973, she was attacked by a gunman with a knife on the set. However, the police announced that Lee Soo-mi had a broken heart and cut herself, because she falsely told the police at the time. It was burdensome to be reported in the media every day and the stir was growing. In 1975, she was involved in a cannabis incident in the entertainment industry and was virtually suspended indefinitely and left the entertainment industry. On her birthday, her entertainment acquaintances openly smoked cannabis, but she said she couldn't get rid of the charges even though she didn't smoke it. Her life fell to the bottom of her heart for 20 years. Although she has been a singer again since 2003, she died of lung cancer at the age of 69.

I feel sorry that her life as a singer has bloomed and lost so short. In memory of her, I sing this song again with a fond heart.
