During the college football game between Iowa and Illinois, Iowa scored a field goal in a way that only Iowa could. The sequence started when Iowa was sacked on third down and forced to punt the ball away. Illinois fumbled the ball and Iowa recovered it at the Illini 35 yard line. Seemingly in good position to score, Iowa did the opposite and instead lost six yards on the drive and was forced to punt it away again. Illinois got the ball back inside the Iowa ten yard line and fumbled the ball on the ensuing drive. Iowa got the ball back but somehow moved backwards once again and had to settle for a field goal. In ten offensive plays Iowa lost 21 yards but still somehow kicked a field goal.
