Hello everyone. For the last two months I've been trying to study a lot of Japanese and record some statistics about that study. It didn't exactly go to plan (you'll notice the discrepancy with Duolingo figures for words vs lexemes - I still don't remember which is which tbh I'm a terrible linguist - and the audio is pretty borked because I tried and failed to Use A Lav Mic Well), but I thought I'd post anyway since sometimes things just aren't perfect, and ain't that just the perfect metaphor for The Learning Experience.

Besides which, I really love hearing about how other people approach language study, so you know, here I am talking about my approach to language study. As I write this description I have 966 mature Anki kanji cards btw. So close to that delicious thousand. I'm gonna keep studying!
