Numbered CSX4207, this CSX4000 Series Continuation 427 S/C Cobra’s story begins with its sole owner, Scott Johnson, who arranged the car's order directly with Carroll Shelby at a meeting at the Bel Air Country Club.

It is believed that this example is the first aluminum-bodied CSX4000 Series car to be left unpainted. The classic Cobra striping etched into the body makes it one of only four cars produced in this style. Prior to completion, the car's aluminum body was displayed suspended from the ceiling at a prominent Shelby Showcase in Scottsdale, Arizona. The odometer reads a scant 97 miles, most of which were accrued in testing.
