After reading the documentation, and with a little work re-ordering some of the less important procedures around the cockpit, I have distilled the start-up procedure for the Avro Vulcan down to the essentials - meaning far less jumping around the cockpit during start-up from cold and dark.

Obviously this procedure should only serve as a starting point for your adventures with the Vulcan - as you learn more, you may wish to follow the full check-list that is detailed in the aircraft documentation, and in the built-in checklists.
