This is a two firefighter repetitive skill stacking drill. The idea here is two-fold. 1. Showcase the capability of the hogwall firefighter training prop. 2. Use the prop to stack a series of skills that firefighters work through in progression.

Check out firefightertrainingwalls.com for more information on The Hogwall Firefighter Training Prop or go to Unitedfiretraining.com for more information about training opportunities.

The firefighters in this drill have a predetermined set of skills to work through. The firefighters are also stacked in a rotation with other teams. A team of two firefighters in full PPE approach a locked door that needs to be forced, floor sounded and entry way cleared while gaining information on interior conditions. After securing the door both firefighters mask up and go on air to conduct a rapid search. While communicating the firefighters work through a series of obstacles and finish with bailing out of a window. This is skill stacking and helps to establish skills as second nature but also trains the brain to easily transition from one task to another. Firefighters then reset their SCBA and equipment and return to the rotation - actively resting before going through the process again.
