From 2:35am until just before Dawn on 9/27/24, Augusta, GA and the rest of the South was hit by a Hurricane. What once was a Cat 4 upon landfall survived as a Cat 2 by the time it reached Augusta. It threw many tornadoes including a F2 tornado that ran across Augusta just west of Augusta National Golf Club. This is a view from the Greenbriar, Berckman Hills, and Byrnwood neighborhoods.
