This magic box looks like a leather cube without any visible lock or opening. Only those who know the code and the way to use it would be able to unlock and open the box. A steel frame is covered with the carved leather outside and soft deerskin inside to prevent damage of the items stored in the box.

A Celtic "Tree of Life" with a number of falling leaves marks each side (similar to a dice). To unlock and open, you'd need to know the code and turn each number up in the sequence.

A micro controller and a 3-D accelerometer are used to measure the direction of the gravitation and to compare the code to one saved in their memory. The original idea was posted here: http://deddieslab.blogspot.com/2011/0...
