In this interview, I sit down with Radheya Jegatheva, a talented filmmaker hailing from Perth, Western Australia. Radheya dedicated three years to crafting his Screenwest-supported animation short film, "Bird Drone."

The film has garnered significant acclaim, winning the Audience Choice Award at the WA Made Film Festival and Best Short Film at the Best Australian Short Film Competition, where Radheya received a $30,000 prize.

Additionally, "Bird Drone" earned recognition at various festivals, including the Will Rogers Motion Picture Festival, where it received accolades for Best of Fest and Best Animation.

At the West Australian Screen Culture Awards, Radheya's writing prowess was honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award. The film also received the BFI Future Film Award for Best Animation and the Best Animation PSFF Award at the Peninsula Short Film Festival.

Nominated at the Warsaw International Film Festival and the Foyle Film Festival, "Bird Drone" has left an indelible mark on the international film scene.
