The Krewe of Highland Parade is a unique Mardi Gras parade set in Shreveport's historic Highland neighborhood. It features unique floats - many of which are quirky and homemade - and unusual throws like hot dogs from the Krewe of Bar-B-Q and yummy moon pies, as well as countless beads, stuffed animals and more. The Krewe of Highland Parade is an afternoon parade held each year on the Sunday following the huge Krewe of Gemini Parade.
