As a military wife, we move a lot. Yet, this move feels different. Here I am in our house in Germany with a few rental pieces and a couple airbeds and I'm calmer than I have been in a long time! What's different? Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm finally ready to embrace minimalism. Maybe it's all of the self-work I've done these past three+ years and especially in the last 8 months or so. Whatever it is, I'm now questioning everything I own. Do I truly want it to take up space in my new house? What things truly add value and what is it I'm holding onto out of fear? These are questions I'll ponder as I live with less for the next two months and consider what is truly important, because I'm realizing even the books I love come with a cost ...
