Hi, everyone! It’s Mimi Daisy here
Thank you so much for stopping by my second vlog.
If this is your first time visiting my Daisy home,
this is where I document my slow, peaceful weekends
in a small apartment right in the heart of busy Saigon.
I hope you have a relaxing and cozy weekend!

Today, I finally finished my sweater.
I couldn’t wait to add a few final stitches and show it to you all

I’ve only been crocheting for a few months, so I’m still a bit clumsy.
I came up with this design and just went with the flow rather than following any patterns.
Do you think it turned out… okay-ish?

Usually, I wash the sweater after finishing it before wearing it.

But today, I’m excited to show it off, so I’m wearing it in this vlog!

This week, I tried growing some aquatic plants.
I love having a lot of greenery in the house.
I brought this plant back from my parents’ countryside home just yesterday.
I still dream of one day having a little garden of my own
where I can grow all the plants and flowers I love.

For dinner tonight, I’ll be frying up some bánh xèo!
Have you ever tried bánh xèo before?
I’m from the Mekong Delta,
and bánh xèo is one of the specialties of my hometown.
But no matter how much I try, my bánh xèo never turns out as good as my mom’s.
Still, my husband always says mine is super delicious

If you have any good tips on how to make bánh xèo, please share them with me

The key to getting a 9.5 out of 10 from my husband for this dish is the dipping sauce.
He always compliments my garlic chili fish sauce.
But honestly, I just follow my instincts

Please join us for dinner!
Sometimes, when it rains at night, I make ginger and apple tea to warm us up
and help us sleep better.

Before bed, I like to sit down and jot down a few things in my journal.
I check to see what tasks I’ve completed over the past week and what’s still left unfinished.
I reflect on any mistakes I made and think about how I can improve.
And finally, I plan for the upcoming week.

This habit helps me stay honest with myself,
accepting that I’m still a work in progress.
Only by acknowledging this can I give myself the chance to grow and get better each day.

Now, I wish you all a good night.

Thank you for sticking around till the end of the vlog.
