Beloved Scots DJ Mallorca Lee has tragically died after a battle with cancer. The 51-year-old announced last month that he had just “weeks to live” following the devastating diagnosis. .

His family have announced his death with a tribute on his official Facebook page on Monday, February 5. They wrote: “We love you infinity, goodbye and safe trip.”

Lee, who founded the iconic 90s dance music group Ultra Sonic, apologised to fans while announcing his terminal illness in a statement in January.

Hundreds of heartfelt tributes have begun pouring in for the frontman from fans, friends and fellow artists. DJ Bass Generator wrote: “No words! Absolutely devastating for you to lose such a special soul.”
