Set to 4k !! This vlog was filmed in the second week of September, not long after we had some decent rainfall down in the new forest. The forest wasn’t quite bustling with fungi yet but still a good selection of edible species popping up. Fungi in the video are: brown birch bolete (Leccinum), horse or macro mushroom (Agaricus), artists bracket (Ganoderma), Birch polypore (Fomitopsis), Beefsteak (Fistulina), Sickener (Russula), COTW (Laetiporus), spectacular rustgill (Gymnopilus), Earthball (scleroderma). This is just a guide. I am not an expert mycologist but have been mushroom foraging for 4 years and I do spend a lot of time researching and cross checking my sources. Please do your own research if you want to forage and consume wild fungi & plants. I recommend joining some forays to learn from the experts first hand!
