In 19741, an ag teacher in Assumption established the Bayouland Young Farmers Association. Earlier this week, nearly a hundred farmers, ag professionals and educators gathered in Napoleonville to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the association and its founder, 92-year-old James Hubbell.
