This is an overview not step by step. I used the kit from Huges Engines and was pleased with the new hardware included. Look them up for prices and applications. The intake manifold gaskets, the ones that seal to the heads, were not worth using. I bought Victor Renz gaskets. And wouldnt you know it, the thermostat they included was no good. A replacement was cheap enough, just aggravating to replace it twice. Once everythin was buttoned up. No more burning oil, best of all, no more pinging under acceleration. I went back to 87 octane gas and the sumnbitch payed for itself already.
