A few people asked for it and voilà: Instructions on how to quickly sew together for christmas and new years celebrations and parties :)

There's 2 versions:
Version 1: A-line dress with a stretchy velvet fabric/jersey fabric which can be done with an overlocker or zig zag stitch in 15 mins (ideal for beginners)
Version 2: A wrap dress with ties - takes depending on your method about 30 mins to 2 hours (if you've got more time)

I am Kathi, I'm in my mid-twenties and like most of you: I love buying new clothes and trendy pieces whilst spending as little money as possible. Nevertheless I find myself speaking out more and more against the fast-fashion industry whose terrible conditions and throw-away culture results in 5.8 million tons of textiles ending up in landfills every year (in Europe alone). However - and I believe other people feel the same - I can't afford some boring (sorry), "fair", white t-shirt for 90€ and so a few months ago I decided that instead I would just make my clothes myself 😊
I won't be doing this out of newly produced fabrics (because of the immense environmental cost of the chemical colouring) instead I'll be conjuring up new items of clothing, out of secondhand clothing or vintage pieces, that are inspired by unaffordable designer trends. And all that for very little money. #howtoslayomaskleiderschrank
And maybe, having been inspired by one of my videos, you'll reach for your sewing machine and let your creativity run wild :D but DON'T PANIC, sewing machines aren't nearly as complicated as they look 😉
